Creative Journey

Two things crucial to my life: Art and Connection.

As someone who studied programming and web design, I understand that conveying ideas and even troubles form one side to the other is a challenging process. One I pride myself on excelling at.

Communication is key in all aspects of life; In our spare time, professionaly, and even with strangers. Our goal should be giving and recieving information as efficiently as possible. In the digital professional world one cannot know only ones own field. And furthermore, one should not expect others to know everrything you know. UX/uI is that bridge. Connecting developers and clients is a difficult task, and one that I am profficient in.

I'm someone who likes to combine creativity with functionality, thereby making something dynamic and usable. As with all designs, composition and deciding what goes in, and what goes out, is key.

Who am I?

Now that you've come this far, let me get personal.

My name is Ana and I live in Croatia. I graduated university and hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering Information Technologies. My main focus for those years has been finding what I love in the IT sector, which has become UX/UI Design. It's something that drives me and lets me be creative while also utilizing my knowledge of OOP (Object oriented programming), HTML/CSS, Programming languages like Java and Python and Database Manipulation.

I worked many jobs and have experiences all over. From administration of websites, to full-stack development of android apps, even to hotel management. My theory in life is one should never limit oneself in their pursuit of knowledge.

Java programming has tought me how beck-end programming works while turism holds the key to proper communication skills. And that's why I believe I've found my perfect middle ground: user experience and interface design. It blends aspects perfectly. Understanding the user and their needs, as well as understanding the perople behind the task of creating the very digital solution.

My hobbies truly vary: Most of the time I enjoy perfecting my UX/UI knowledge, and spend the remaining time creating digital illustrations and working on app development and perfecting that skill. My skills are soemthing I am proud of, but I have so much more to learn. That learning curve Is something I truly enjoy, as proven by the 4 languages I speak and dozens of tattoo designs I created. :)
